God knows who you are

You were created before the foundations of the earth were made, he formed your body in your mother’s womb. He knows the number of hairs on your head.

Let the one who not only created you, but loves you the most tell you who you are.

Don’t let the one who knows nothing about you tell you of who you are.

Let the one who authored your life story read it to you page by page.

Let the one who died for you upon a cross show you where to go.

Don’t leave it up to a tempting random throw.

This world will act as though it knows who you are, but that is a lie.

They will attempt to form you into a tool for their use.
And they will toss you away after you’ve suffered much abuse.

The world doesn’t know who you are
So it will try to write its own story
So it can watch you die
In a place of manufactured glory

If you live this lie, it will be no better than the line from that Macbeth story
“It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.”
That is what the world wants, but it is not what God wrote.

The world will rewrite your story. It will put up a fight
And will do so for nothing but selfish delight.

God knows who you are,
He knows who you are meant to be,
God wants you with him for all eternity.
Let him show you the way home.

You are his child,
He loves you,

And only he…

Knows who you are.
