Need to be alone with your thoughts?
that’s a common phrase that you hear… “I need to be alone with my thoughts.” but in the life of a believer, a follower of Jesus Christ that has a different meaning, whether you realize it or not.
When we have alone time, we should not be alone. We should be talking with God through prayer, worshiping him, praising him and doing anything we can to show him that we love him…
being alone with our thoughts… And not focusing on him, you might as well say “I need time to be alone with my flesh.”
If you need time to be alone with “your thoughts,”then you need to reconsider, because that’s when you will start thinking about things you shouldn’t.
That’s when you will start focusing on things you shouldn’t.
That’s when the devil will try to knock on your door and you won’t realize it.
Never be alone with your thoughts, but instead be accompanied by the Lord at all times. (In ALL your ways acknowledge Him!)
Never be alone with your thought but instead sitting in prayerful silence.
Never be alone with JUST your thoughts, because that VERY thought comes from your flesh.
