She said:
“If healing isn’t for everyone, that’s a cruel god.”
I said:
“Isn’t it more cruel for Him to allow any sickness in the first place?
I don’t think so. Apart from the fact that He Is Sovereign, aka never wrong (being The Standard-Setter Himself), it’s in my weakness That His Strength most brightly shines.
Or, as Paul wrote:
“…Therefore, in order to keep me from becoming conceited, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me.
Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me.
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
2 Corinthians 12:7-11 NIV
If one only worships or loves or esteems (or feels loved By) God when He Does something that the person likes or wants, then does that mean they will grow vexed With God if He Doesn’t give them what they want?
Some might argue that “God Is Cruel” for Creating us when we didn’t ask to be born.
They’ve never experienced how wonderful life is With Jesus, though.
Even with 51 medical conditions and pain that doesn’t respond to medicine. (Ask me how I know :)
God Bless and Draw you, sister.
In The Holy Name Of Jesus,
Amin
