Feel like the only one who cares about following The One, True God?

(It can get discouraging and scary, I know ♥️).

Elijah felt that way too.

“Yet I will leave seven thousand in Israel, all the knees that have not bowed to Baal, and every mouth that has not kissed him.”

1 Kings 19:18

I know, I know.

It wasn’t written to us.

And most of those reading this ain’t in Israel now (and Baal isn’t the top dog of demons—as far as I know, anyway. (Anything is possible, tho…!)

But I believe we can take this as a promise, if we’re dealing with the crux of this verse:

“Yes, there are others who shun the lies and seek The Truth (and The Way and The Life! And Light!).

Don’t believe that your success or victory (and theirs) rests upon how many “strong” YOU are; instead, REST IN The One Who IS Strength, Who IS Victory: The Almighty GOD And His VICTORIOUS Right HAND!”

Amin ya Rab, Help us internalise this and we pray Your Will Be Done in all things, in all people, in every single way.
