What love is unconditional?

What is unconditional love?

You often hear that people are looking for unconditional love, that they won’t marry someone that doesn’t love them unconditionally.

In my experience, most people will never find that because they’re looking in the wrong place. They’re expecting it from the wrong source. The only love that is unconditional is the love of God.

You cannot feel, perceive or understand his love fully with your human existence. You can only perceive it and feel it once you fully submit yourself to him, to God and to his will.

The only example of his unconditional love we can even come close to understanding is the sacrifice of his beloved son Jesus Christ. He sent Jesus so that the sin that the entirety of humanity has amassed and will amass can be paid.

Before Jesus, we were destined for hell and there was nothing we could do about it.

Now, we have been granted a pardon for our wrongdoing because God loved us enough to pay the price himself.

No matter what we do, no matter what we say, no matter where we are, no matter who we choose to be, God will love us through it all.

If we turn to him, if we dedicate ourselves to Him, if we obey him, we will live forever in heaven, surrounded by the same unconditional love that saved us here on earth.

The love of God is the only love that is unconditional.

Before you seek anything on this earth, seek God.

Before you Chase after the love of someone here on earth, you must first experience and desperately cling to the love of Him who created it.
