A prayer for abundance and safety
Dear Lord, I thank you for giving me the life that you have, I thank you for the house that I live in. I thank you for the food that I eat. I thank you for the clothes that I wear and thank you for the job that I have. thank you for the good health that I enjoy, but most of all out of all of the earthly things I thank you for the wife that you’ve given me. I thank you for the precious daughter of yours that you freely presented to me. I thank you that she loves you as much as she does and that she has helped me to see what it is , what it means to love you. You are our master, you are our creator, you are our provider, you are our protector, you are our God.
Help us to continue to worship you, glorify you, magnify you and love you. Help us to continue to obey you and trust you in all things. Our life is constantly under attack each and every day; there isn’t a moment that it isn’t under siege by demonic entities.
We rest in the fact that you are Jehovah Nisi, our banner of victory. We rest in the fact that you are Elohim the Almighty God. We rest in the fact that you are Emmanuel, God with us.. we know that you have everything under control and nothing will happen unless you sign off on it. We know that every bit of hardship we go through has a purpose. We know that every difficulty will help to shape us into the people we are meant to be, the people you created us to be if we trust you lean on you and obey you through all of it.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we ask you to help us do exactly that. Help us to trust and obey you through everything good or bad. Let us never lean on our own understanding. Let us never seek answers from another source. Let us never chase after provisions from anyone other than you who owns the cattle on 1000 hills and the hills themselves.
This world is getting darker, it is dying as the poison of the devil spreads throughout its entirety. It is being strangled by satan’s darkness. You put both my wife and I here to spread your light and drive the darkness away, but we can only do that with your power and through your hand. Keep your hands on us as we build the ministry that you have given to us, keep your hands on us as we go out into the darkness in the ways that you command so that we may plant seeds of light and hope. Protect us as we go into enemy territory, lead us guide us, strengthen us and teach us so that we will become the people we need to be to walk on this path that you have set before us. Help us to continue down this path of transformation, this path of sanctification, this path of purification that leads to eternal life in the presence of your perfection.
Help us to not only wear the armor of God, your armor, but to become fused with it so that it never is removed from us. Help us both to be fused with you oh Lord through your Holy Spirit help us to become so completely intertwined with your Holy Spirit that there is no distinction between us and yourself. Lord God, make it so that there is no line there is no blurred boundary. There is no boundary at all.
Lord, we ask for the life that you say you will give to all who follow you, life abundantly. We ask now for your provision both in the physical so that we may do each and every thing that you want us to do and so that we may live a life befitting the children of royalty. And in the spiritual so that we both live and walk in your ways. So that we live by the convictions that you put on our hearts so that we speak of you the way you would have us do to all of your creations that have yet to turn to you. You have put us on this earth for many things give us the purity, give us the righteousness, give us the wisdom, give us the knowledge, give us the strength, give us the resources and the power to do it all.
Finally, Lord, I ask that you never let us become prideful about anything that you gave us. Never let us become prideful about anything that comes from your hands. We pray that you will give us no chance and no room to have pride grow in us. Let us never be overtaken by envy, fear, jealousy, anger, or any other emotion that does not befit a follower of Jesus Christ, your son, our savior and our king.
It’s in that precious name, His precious name, the name of Jesus Christ that we do pray
amen.
