I “felt” called to teach and did so for 15 years, but didn’t realise till I worked for a Christian university that my calling was to teach… Bible!!
Then, in 2023 God Made it very clear that I was supposed to be a psalmist and make praise and worship my full-time assignment. (Not in a church but as a recording artist first and then a “global worship leader” once I’d been properly trained (By Him).
And now… I find out that He DID mean for me to teach, and I had NOT gone away From His Will in getting a PhD; I was just supposed to be teaching Bible, “at the appointed time,” which was… once my relationship With Him Had been strengthened and I stopped messing around and took it seriously.
So!
He Knew “the plan” even while I thought there WAS no plan… and when I thought it was up to me to come up with that plan, and that he would just rubberstamp it.
And even when I knew He did have a plan, but then suspected that I had derailed the whole thing.
The steps and the stops of a righteous man or woman are well prepared by the LORD! I should’ve kept that in mind. But just a few years ago, it had never occurred to me. Because I was not as biblically literate as I thought I was.
Anyway, didn’t mean to tell you my entire life story…but I can’t wait to hear more about yours!
